We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team, which builds, operates, and continuously improves our cloud-native stack and foundational systems.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health Komodo Health is rapidly growing and expanding both our cloud infrastructure and our data platform while adopting SRE best practices.

Your work spans two core areas: our AWS cloud infrastructure, built and operated as code (IaC), and our Snowflake data platform, which you help operate and optimize.

Key accomplishments in your first 12 months:

- Operate and optimize our Snowflake environment in production

- Contribute to measurable cloud and Snowflake cost reduction

- Deliver and operate production AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure

- Strengthen our security and compliance posture

- Enhance observability and on-call readiness

Responsibilities:

- Operate and optimize Snowflake

- Build and operate AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure as code (Terraform)

- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)

- Drive infrastructure optimization

- Harden cloud infrastructure

- Build and maintain centralized observability

- Participate in the shared US-business-hours on-call rotation

Requirements:

- Hands-on Snowflake experience in a production setting

- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS

- Infrastructure-as-code proficiency with Terraform

- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes

- Scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash

- Strong collaboration and communication skills

Additional skills and experience we’ll prioritize:

- Deep hands-on Snowflake administration

- Advanced SQL and data-warehouse internals

- Experience with big-data and orchestration tools

- FinOps or cloud cost-optimization experience

- Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements

The pay range for this role is: San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $181,000-$220,000 USD All Other US Locations: $157,000-$195,000 USD
