## Description

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, offering various services such as food delivery, financial management, and transportation.

We are looking for a strategic and business-driven Software Engineering Manager to guide the technical roadmap and business execution for our Agent Experience team, which owns and operates mission-critical internal platforms that power the end-to-end customer support and engagement ecosystem for the entire Grab superapp.

**Critical Tasks:**

- Lead a team of engineers across different tech stacks, participating in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards.

- Partner with cross-functional leaders to build the product roadmap, set customer-focused metrics, and experiment designs.

- Lead quarterly planning and build a smooth execution plan with the team to secure delivery of the product and engineering roadmap.

- Set the engineering strategy and key result targets for the team, improving testability, availability, security, and code quality.

- Attract and retain senior engineering talent, mentor and develop engineering talent in the team and across Grab.

- Keep team staffing aligned with business needs and quickly pivot to changing needs.

**Qualifications:**

- At least 10 years of engineering experience.

- Experience building and scaling complex engineering organizations.

- Advanced expertise in distributed systems, specifically those focused on high availability, performance, and reliability.

- Experience managing platforms that serve diverse use cases and products simultaneously.

- Experience managing a large team of junior to lead engineers/managers.

- Minimum 5+ years of experience leading people.

- Exposure to AI-assisted or agentic development tooling.
