## Description

Priory Hospital Norwich is seeking a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join their team. This bank hours role will provide support to the multi-disciplinary clinical team across three wards in the hospital.

As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in patients' recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting qualified staff in delivering individual care plans, assisting with personal care tasks and daily activities in line with healthcare procedures.

- Monitoring patient wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff, and assisting with delegated interventions such as observations, de-escalation, and patient escort.

- Contributing to the multidisciplinary team, attending meetings, and helping maintain ward cleanliness, stock levels, and infection control standards.

- Fostering professional relationships with patients, visitors, and colleagues, ensuring a welcoming and responsive environment.

- Promoting high-quality, person-centred care that represents value for money and meets the needs of patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and deliver compassionate, person-centred care. Experience in a healthcare or mental health setting is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
