## Description

Ford Energy is seeking a Site IT Systems Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and execution for IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user services across the Ford Energy site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of site IT systems that support battery manufacturing, energy systems, and business operations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining site IT infrastructure

- Providing day-to-day technical support for IT equipment across various areas

- Serving as first-line responder for incidents, performing triage, troubleshooting, and escalation

- Executing planned maintenance, system updates, and outages in coordination with operations and IT leadership

- Supporting rollout of major IT and business initiatives

- Assisting in developing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery and high-availability procedures

- Performing routine system health checks, capacity monitoring, and proactive maintenance

- Supporting cybersecurity compliance efforts

- Maintaining accurate documentation of systems, configurations, incidents, and procedures

- Mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a safe, inclusive, and accountable team environment

The ideal candidate will have:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, network support, or manufacturing IT environments

- Working knowledge of ITIL practices

- Familiarity with manufacturing operations, plant floor systems, or industrial IT/OT environments

- Solid understanding of networking, servers, virtualization, and endpoint management

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Effective verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced operational setting

- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs
