As a Lawyer at Fragomen, you will:

- Assess the eligibility of foreign employees of companies for immigrant status in Canada.

- Draft, prepare, and review legal letters and documents, generally based on established precedents.

- Develop in-depth expertise in your client base and the sectors you support.

- Collaborate with colleagues to solve client problems, share information, and support ongoing projects.

- Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedures, case processing, and case strategy.

- Acquire an understanding of the firm's practice areas and services offered.

- Conduct thorough research to support client applications and projects.

- Assist clients in managing and complying with their immigration programs.

- Supervise paralegal staff.

We are looking for candidates with:

- Membership in good standing with the Quebec Bar.

- Two or more years of experience in business immigration cases.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment with competing demands.

- Team spirit and contribution to a positive work environment.
