## Description

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry is seeking a Porter to join their team on a bank shifts basis. As a Porter, you will be required to work on an 'as and when required' basis, supplementing staffing levels during busy periods and providing cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

The role involves undertaking various tasks such as moving patients, equipment, and goods, explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and family members, and providing a courteous service to internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring patient comfort and dignity are maintained, providing security for the facility as required, and complying with all relevant mandatory training.

To be considered for this role, you should have frontline customer-facing experience, previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting would be beneficial, and maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence. Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems, is also required.
