The Mass Tort Litigation Attorney will handle a range of litigation responsibilities, including drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, managing discovery, preparing clients and witnesses, coordinating expert and records development, and supporting depositions, hearings, and trial preparation as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute litigation strategy for assigned mass tort matters in coordination with lead/case management counsel

- Draft, review, and file pleadings, amendments, and substantive motions

- Ensure compliance with applicable case management orders, scheduling orders, and local rules

- Monitor and implement MDL/coordinated proceeding developments

- Provide substantive direction to paralegals/case managers on litigation tasks

- Identify and develop liability and damages proof

- Assess and recommend appropriate venue and jurisdiction for filing

- Support strategic filing decisions and ensure venue selection aligns with case theory

- Support settlement and resolution efforts

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational and analytical skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure

- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

- Professional judgment and discretion

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and litigation support staff

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

- JD required

- A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting litigation matters in a law firm or comparable legal environment

- Substantial experience with complex litigation strongly preferred
