## Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Jedi team at Respawn, a studio within Electronic Arts. As a Software Engineer UI, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, modular UI systems, in-game HUDs, menus, and front-end features. You will also drive PC-specific UI/UX features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prioritize the player experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable, modular UI systems, in-game HUDs, menus, and front-end features.

- Drive PC-specific UI/UX features, owning the holistic experience from the engineering side.

- Identify, diagnose, and solve issues as they arise, including bugs and areas for player experience improvement.

- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, UI/UX designers, technical artists, technical designers, producers, and QA.

- Contribute to healthy team morale and culture.

- Share and receive opinions about the game as a whole.

Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience in the games industry as an engineer, with experience in UI/UX.

- Proficiency in C++.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with PC gaming and player expectations.

- Familiarity with UX best practices.

- Unreal Engine experience is a plus.
