## Description

Honda is seeking an Environmental Compliance & Sustainability Specialist to support department and plant environmental regulatory compliance and sustainability performance programs. The successful candidate will lead department and support plant environmental communication and collaboration, develop and implement processes to comply with environmental regulations, and analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading department and supporting plant environmental communication and collaboration

- Developing and implementing processes to comply with environmental regulations

- Analyzing data and trends to identify areas for improvement

- Developing energy, water, and waste targets

- Drafting and implementing environmental procedures and methods

- Acting as liaison between department and plant environmental teams

- Creating and performing environmental training content

- Supporting the development and deployment of data management systems

- Coordinating assigned contractor Scope of Work

- Conducting performance inspections

- Coordinating and implementing timely department countermeasures

- Developing capability of self, colleagues, and team

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a science-related degree, and 0-4 years of environmental experience. Required skills include experience using Microsoft Office products, effective communication and presentation skills, ability to manage and lead projects, and strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
