## Description

As a Test Automation Intern at Lyft, you will work closely with industry-leading engineers and have the freedom to innovate from day one.

Your contributions will be essential in accelerating our product development and strengthening user trust and satisfaction by creating cutting-edge test automation tools.

### Responsibilities:

- Take ownership of your project and collaborate with team members throughout the day to ask questions and provide updates

- Leave the codebase in better shape than you found it through continuous refactoring

- Prioritize reliability ensured by testing (unit tests, integration tests, and load testing)

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge

- Continuous integration and deployment

- Know that your work directly improves the quality of life for Lyft users

### Experience:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science at a Canadian university, with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and Summer 2028

- Available for the internship in Montreal during Summer 2027

- Strong computer science fundamentals

- Excellent communication skills

- Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation

- Passion for quality and testing

- Ability to thrive in a startup environment

- Contributions to open-source projects

- Experience working with databases

- Experience in real-time problem-solving

- Experience in mobile development

- Experience in integration testing and test automation, a plus

- Experience with cutting-edge AI tools or a strong desire to learn, a plus
