## Description

We are seeking a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Edinburgh Airport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of cleaning and presentation throughout the airport, ensuring all passenger, staff, and public areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and welcoming condition.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis within the terminal building, out buildings, and airport grounds

- Complete a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, and maintaining washrooms, toilets, offices, and external areas

- Handle hazardous materials properly and use uniform, PPE, and safety behavior actions correctly landside and airside

- Maintain professionalism in appearance and manners towards coworkers, clients, and others within the airport

- Carry out any reasonable task requested

Required skills and experience:

- Good attention to detail with the ability to work independently and use own initiative

- Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work

- Good communication skills and committed to quality

- Ability to quickly adapt to a busy operational environment

- Ability to work without constant supervision and follow management instructions

- Experience as a cleaner an advantage, including knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations

- Full training will be provided
