## Description

We are seeking a Principal Coordinator, Security Operations Specialist to join our Global Workplace Services (GWS) team at Capital One. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our employees and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day activities in the Global Security Operation Center (GSOC), responding to security-related incidents, and coordinating with various stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Intake of critical response communications

- Responding to calls for equipment service and information about security-related technology systems

- Monitor and respond to security alarms utilizing alarm monitoring tools

- Synthesize large amounts of information quickly

- Create a comprehensive documented record of security-related incidents

- Coordinate routine and critical incident communications

- Understand the proper use of security-related tools and procedures

- Implement access control procedures

- Assist with physical security validations for partners and vendors

- Support general security, first responder, and law enforcement engagement and response to incidents

- Escalate to supervisors when appropriate

**Requirements:**

- At least 2 years of experience in Law enforcement, Military, Corporate Security, Business Continuity, Risk, Emergency Management or Customer Service

- At least 1 year of experience with security operations

- At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or Google Suite

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree or military experience

- 3+ years of experience in the security field

- 1+ years of experience with emergency communication operations

- 1+ years of experience with situational awareness tools

- 1+ years of SOC experience

- 1+ years of experience with MAStermind, Lenel, Verint or Genetec video systems, or the D3 report-writing platform

**Salary Range:** McLean, VA: $62,500 - $71,300 Riverwoods, IL: $56,800 - $64,800
