## Description

We are seeking a Packaging Specialist (TDT) to join our North American Innovation & Brand Change team at Diageo. This 12-month contract position offers full-time hours and the opportunity to join Diageo in a full-time position upon completion.

The Packaging Specialist (TDT) plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of innovation, renovation, and brand change initiatives from concept through market launch. You will develop and manage packaging component specifications, support packaging testing and validation activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, in full, within budget, and aligned with quality and cost objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working directly with suppliers and vendors to communicate requirements and resolve technical issues

- Supporting specification workflow approvals and maintaining effective communication throughout project lifecycles

- Partnering with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure packaging deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule

- Developing and executing packaging testing plans based on project requirements and recommending packaging improvements and risk mitigation strategies based on test outcomes

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Must be of legal drinking age by start of employment
