## Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Associate to join our Labour Mobility Unit in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The successful candidate will assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities related to labour mobility, financial inclusion, and data research.

The Senior Project Associate will work under the supervision of the National Project Officer on Labour Mobility and in collaboration with relevant units at Headquarters and Administrative Centres. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities

- Compiling, summarizing, analyzing, and presenting information/data on specific project topics

- Monitoring budget implementation and proposing adjustments as necessary

- Acting as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation

- Drafting status reports, identifying shortfalls, and suggesting corrective measures

- Organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions

- Responding to complex information requests and inquiries

- Maintaining effective liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, UN agencies, and other stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field with four years of professional experience, or a high school diploma with six years of relevant professional experience. Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, and non-governmental organizations is required.

Fluency in Uzbek is required, and working knowledge of Russian is desirable.

The contract type is fixed-term for one year with the possibility of extension.
