## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders straight to their doorsteps.

You will be the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued through a thoughtful, friendly and helpful delivery service.

Your main duties will include:

- Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition

- Completing checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organised, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off

- Following planned routes and driving safely in a variety of locations, traffic, weather and road conditions

- Moving containers weighing up to 15kg and delivering shopping to a variety of properties

- Communicating with customers, including keeping them informed of any delays, dealing with customer queries and any changes to their order

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A full UK/EU driving licence with no more than 6 points

- Right to Work eligibility in the UK

- Friendly and welcoming demeanor with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers

- Ability to drive a larger vehicle safely in different locations

- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy containers

- Good communication skills and ability to work independently
