## Description

The Boeing Company is seeking Flight Simulation Software Engineers (Associate, Experienced, and Senior) to join the Flight Simulation Labs team in Berkeley, MO. This role supports the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

As a Flight Simulation Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and demonstrate avionics solutions for platforms built and upgraded by Boeing. Your work will help integrate innovative technologies to maintain platform dominance over the battlefield for decades to come. You will also support Flight Simulation products associated with these platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, document, and maintain architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software systems

- Develop and maintain code, integrating software components into a fully functional software system

- Support development of simulation environments for testing performed by Mission Systems engineers

- Work on an agile team to accomplish team goals

- Execute and document software research and development projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship

- 2+ years of experience programming in C, C++, C#, Python, Java, or Ada

- 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

Preferred Qualifications:

- Active Secret Clearance or higher

- Experience in the defense or avionics industry

- Knowledge of basic networking principles

- Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools like Jira

- Strong coordination and communication skills

- Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment while supporting multiple concurrent activities

Salary Range:

- Associate: $94,450.00 - $134,550.00

- Experienced: $126,650.00 - $171,350.00

- Senior: $160,650.00 - $217,350.00
