## Description

We are seeking an Inventory Senior Specialist to join our Supply Chain Operations Department at American Honda Motor Company in East Liberty, Ohio. The successful candidate will lead inventory analysis and decision-making with our contracted logistics companies, other Supply Chain management Departments, and the manufacturing plant.

The Inventory Senior Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of systems required to support production, reviewing daily reports, and leading onsite physical inventory activity when needed. The ideal candidate will have a Business Related Degree or equivalent relevant work experience, at least 2 years of experience in an inventory management role, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Maintain system accuracy through complex inventory discrepancy analysis

- Review and resolve daily report issues

- Lead mass production build-out for Major Model changes and new model launch activity

- Manage and execute project-related activity through Specified Action Plan (SAP)

- Develop and maintain professional communication networks with other facilities

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:**

- Business Related Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

- 2+ years of experience in inventory management role/manufacturing experience

- Critical problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Good understanding of parts flow, logistics, and delivery systems from a production aspect
