## Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team at the Food Distribution Center in Lake City, FL. The pay range for this role is $27.70 - $30.49 per hour, with potential for additional compensation through shift differentials.

As a Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated material handling and facility equipment, ensuring high equipment availability rates. Your tasks will include:

- Performing basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)

- Demonstrating mechanical proficiency for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and AC/DC electrical motors and drives

- Adjusting, resetting, repairing, or replacing adjustable components and wearing components

- Maintaining and troubleshooting motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, tachometers, encoders, etc.

- Cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating equipment

- Using appropriate job plans, procedures, and manuals

- Performing preventative maintenance on facility equipment

- Executing sanitation and maintenance standards that support the health of industrial ammonia refrigeration

- Utilizing handheld devices and asset management system mobile apps to create and close Work Orders

- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships across all levels of the organization

- Following appropriate safety procedures and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
