## Description

The Closing Team Leader role at Target involves leading a team to complete tasks and ensure the store is ready for the next day.

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.00 - $25.00, with a full pay range of $23.00 - $39.10 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches

- Prioritize the guest experience and model, train, and coach expectations to deliver the service standard

- Understand the role in sales growth and how each area contributes to total store profitability

- Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices

- Problem-solve and prioritize across multiple business areas

- Assist leaders through communication and collaboration

- Support the leader with store operations

- Use business planning tools to share priorities and business updates

- Take action to achieve performance goals

- Evaluate candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team

- Support team onboarding and learning

- Support the leader in establishing clear goals and expectations

- Follow all safe and secure training and processes

- Address all store emergency and compliance needs

- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Lead and demonstrate a safety culture

- Model creating a welcoming experience for guests

- Demonstrate how to engage with guests when assistance is needed

- Lead by thanking guests and letting them know they're happy they chose to shop at Target

- Model the execution of physical security processes

- Support merchandise protection strategies

- Support guest services such as order pickup and drive-up orders

Requirements:

- Previous retail experience preferred but not required

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must be at least 18 years of age or older

- Ability to lead and hold others accountable

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

- Effective communication skills

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
