As a (Junior) Presales Consultant Storage & Compute, you will be the technical contact for our customers, partners, and sales teams around modern storage, compute, and data centre solutions, with a special focus on storage and data management. You will analyse customer requirements, develop tailored technical solution concepts, and accompany our customers from the initial idea to the final solution architecture.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide technical consulting to customers and partners with a focus on storage, compute, data management, and modern data centre solutions

- Analyse business and technical customer requirements and develop suitable storage, compute, and as-a-service solution concepts

- Design and configure individual storage and compute architectures for medium-sized and large enterprise customers

- Technically support the entire sales cycle, from initial customer consultation to solution design, configuration, and presentation

- Present storage, compute, and data centre solutions and technical concepts to customers and partners

- Take on the technical lead for storage and compute topics in customer projects

- Build trust-based customer and partner relationships

- Support and train the sales team on storage and compute technologies, solutions, use cases, and positioning

- Continuously develop your expertise through training, certifications, and engagement with new storage, compute, cloud, and data centre technologies

**Requirements:**

- Good technical understanding of modern IT infrastructures and data centre architectures

- Initial knowledge or interest in technologies such as enterprise storage, data management, server and compute platforms, backup and recovery, hybrid cloud, and as-a-service

- Ability to understand business and technical customer requirements and develop suitable technical solution concepts

- Ideally, initial knowledge of HPE storage, compute, and HPE GreenLake solutions or experience with comparable enterprise technologies

- Willingness to intensively engage with storage and compute technologies and continuously develop your technical expertise

- Strong consulting and communication skills, with enthusiasm for presenting complex technical relationships in an understandable way

- Enjoyment of customer contact, presentations, and collaboration with customers, partners, and internal sales and presales teams
