## Description

We are seeking a skilled 2nd Assistant Baker - CTI to join our team on board. As a key member of our galley team, you will be responsible for handling and preparing bakery department products for service to passengers and crew according to our established menus and recipes.

## Key Responsibilities

- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, adhering to company policies and procedures

- Implement and execute food handling and cleaning procedures for the galley in accordance with USPH standards

- Follow all HACCP procedures set by the company and ensure Guest Satisfaction Scores are met for food ratings in your assigned area

- Assist in food preparation according to company recipes and properly utilize, maintain, and return equipment and utensils

- Report any malfunctioning equipment or furnishings in need of repair or refurbishing to the Chief Baker

- Maintain a high level of productivity, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout your work shift

- Perform other job-related functions as assigned

## Core Capabilities

- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions

- Initiative in performing culinary tasks and willingness to ask questions if tasks are unclear

- Team player with excellent communication skills

## Requirements

- At least 1 year of experience in a 5-star hotel, cruise ship, or high-profile restaurant performing similar functions

- Experience in high-volume operations of at least 100 meals per service

- National Certificate in Bakery

- Certification from an accredited advanced food safety program, with extensive knowledge of VSP preferred

- Extensive kitchen machinery and knife safety knowledge

- Effective reading, writing, and speaking of English

- Marlin's Test score of 60 required
