## Description

WSP is seeking a Senior Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer to join their team in Cape Town or Midrand. The successful candidate will produce and oversee engineering designs, manage project finances, and provide technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Formulate detailed C&I designs, processes, and procedures

- Propose budgets and establish timelines for C&I projects

- Validate and ensure the quality of work and methodologies employed by the C&I team

- Identify opportunities for new projects and enhanced processes

- Develop and deliver comprehensive C&I project presentations

- Manage the timely completion of deliverables for various tenders

- Ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, health, environment, and legal policies and procedures

- Develop PLC/DCS systems designs

- Formulate SCADA/HMI systems designs

- Create designs for industrial networks

- Evaluate contractor performance and oversee commissioning quality assurance

Requirements:

- BEng/BSc/BTech degree in Electrical Engineering

- Registered as a Professional Engineer or Technologist ECSA

- Minimum 10 years of experience in C&I engineering

- Project management experience

- Familiarity with industry standards

- Understanding of various contracts

- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit and BIM360/ACC/ProjectWise

- In-depth knowledge of PLC/DCS systems and SCADA/HMI systems
