## Description

As a Merchandise Planner, you will focus on creating, optimising, and delivering plans for supplier ordering and stock replenishment. Your goal will be to ensure the right amount of stock is available in the right place at the right time, building on demand forecasts.

The role is integral to the Category Proposition Group's work in delivering the trade plan and directly impacts key stock KPIs, including availability, explained wastage, and stock holding.

**Responsibilities:**

- Optimise stock availability for Food & Grocery customers to achieve sales category targets while controlling wastage and working capital costs.

- Collaborate with the Category Proposition Group to deliver the Customer and Commercial strategy.

- Ensure stock plans reflect cross-business decisions.

- Optimise system setup, including lead times, delivery frequency, and stock flow through the network.

- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure stock flow plans are compatible with capacity constraints and volume targets.

- Monitor and manage supplier performance with Trading and Supply Chain.

- Report on KPI performance and implement actions.

**Requirements:**

- Experience using data for analysis and decision-making in an FMCG or head office retail environment.

- Ability to collaborate on projects to deliver business solutions.

- Experience influencing and managing supplier and customer relationships.

- Background working in a trading team to deliver measurable performance.

**Desired Skills:**

- JDA System knowledge and experience.

- Anaplan knowledge and experience.

**Additional Information:**

- Salary: up to £55,000, depending on experience.

- Contract type: Permanent.

- Location: Bracknell Head Office.

- Hybrid working approach: 3 days a week in the office.

- Night Premium: £5.25 per hour for work between 22:00 - 06:00.
