## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our CDSClear IT team in Bucharest. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will design, develop, and complete tests for Web UIs and Web Services supporting our clearing service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Take ownership within the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, using Agile or traditional methodologies as needed.

- Develop new functional and non-functional tests to run fully automatically in testing pipelines from GitLab.

- Engineer and execute tests in integrated test environments when required.

- Ensure test execution status and evidence are captured in a Test Management system.

- Analyse test breaks and raise defects within a tracking tool.

- Collaborate with global teams to understand requirements, complete test design, implement tests, and diagnose the root cause of defects.

- Champion automation, from testing to deployment, to ensure speed and quality.

- Work within a regulated financial environment, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and production controls.

**Candidate Profile / Key Skills:**

- Practical experience in designing automated tests for Web UIs and Web Services.

- Expert-level skills with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber.

- Practical experience with UI Testing frameworks for automated testing of Web Applications.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

- Linux skills suitable for executing applications, manipulating files, and analysing system outputs.
