## Description

As a Controls Specialist at GoCardless, a Mollie company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the implementation, management, testing, and regular updates of controls frameworks across various operational teams, including Payments Operations, Billing, and Credit Control.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end controls framework for these teams and serve as a key point of contact for managing annual Safeguarding and SOC1 audits, engaging with auditors, and gathering and submitting evidence.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and implementing controls in collaboration with the Regulatory Compliance team and first-line control owners

- Conducting control assessments and reporting, including regular updates on safeguarding and SOC1 controls assessments

- Directly managing key controls within Internal Operations teams

- Understanding existing processes and redesigning controls to meet current and future business needs

- Working with the Regulatory team to ensure successful audits, including explaining first-line controls to auditors and regulators

- Improving efficiency through standardization, automation, or removal of controls

- Building positive relationships with stakeholders across different lines of defense

The base salary range for this position is 2867 EUR/month gross - 4300 EUR/month gross.
