## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Immigration Associate to join our team at Fragomen in Montreal. As a Business Immigration Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented team, focusing exclusively on immigration law.

**About the Role:** As a senior member of the client team, you will independently oversee and manage assignments with minimal supervision. You will develop an expert-level understanding of your client base, industries, and the firm's practice areas and services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs and industries

- Independently manage assignments and provide creative solutions to complex immigration issues

- Conduct research and formulate solutions for technical immigration issues

- Execute case preparation and filing, and develop strategies for complex matters

- Build and maintain strong client relationships with key stakeholders

- Proactively communicate with clients and provide exceptional client service

- Supervise junior associates and other staff, providing mentoring and coaching

- Ensure team productivity and identify opportunities for process improvement

**Requirements:**

- U.S. JD or LLM required

- Member of a U.S. state bar or Washington D.C. bar association

- 3-5 years of experience at Associate level

- Exceptional working knowledge and understanding of immigration law

- Prior team management experience preferred

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
