## Job Overview

As a Solutions Architect, Enterprise (Presales) at Stripe, you will build highly consultative relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers to provide business and technical thought leadership. Your goal will be to become a trusted advisor in solving mission-critical business challenges and architecting business models that drive new monetization opportunities and growth.

## Responsibilities

- Be a key member of a Stripe account team, defining the customer strategy

- Identify and close new complex opportunities, accelerating solution adoption

- Drive thought leadership and be a trusted advisor for key business and technical stakeholders

- Design and apply Stripe's solutions to customer challenges, developing end-to-end customer transformation journeys and future roadmaps

- Conduct business analysis and background research on customers, industries, and competitors

- Lead strategy engagements with users to align with business priorities, design solutions, and secure technical wins

- Expand Stripe's footprint within existing accounts to new global markets and business units

- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer' to bring insights, trends, and opportunities to leadership, product, and engineering teams

- Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, and account/territory planning

- Approximately 25% travel is anticipated

## Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role

- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales

- Experience in the payments/billing/invoicing/issuing/banking/Fintech space

- Executive engagement skills and presence

- Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings

- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures

- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills

- Ability to operate independently in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

- Passion to take on ownership and drive change

- Superior verbal and written communication skills in English

- Ability to travel per business needs
