## Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team at AVL Maroc SARL AU in Sala Al Jadida, Morocco.

As an Embedded Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing cybersecurity needs for automotive embedded systems and defining security requirements in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434. You will perform risk assessments using TARA, identify threats, and define appropriate protection measures. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the definition of the cybersecurity architecture for embedded systems, contributing to the development and integration of security mechanisms, and coordinating cybersecurity activities with various teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have an engineering degree or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. You should have at least 3 years of experience in automotive cybersecurity or embedded systems security, with good knowledge of ECU architectures and automotive communication networks. Solid understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 requirements and risk assessment methodologies is essential.

Key responsibilities:

- Analyze cybersecurity needs for automotive embedded systems and define security requirements in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434

- Perform risk assessments using TARA, identify threats, and define appropriate protection measures

- Participate in the definition of the cybersecurity architecture for embedded systems

- Contribute to the development and integration of security mechanisms

- Coordinate cybersecurity activities with Software, System, E/E Architecture, and Validation teams

- Define and execute cybersecurity verification and validation activities, analyze results, and follow up on issue resolution

- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive cybersecurity or embedded systems security

- Good knowledge of ECU architectures and automotive communication networks

- Solid understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 requirements and risk assessment methodologies

- Familiarity with automotive development processes

- Experience in embedded software development and cybersecurity testing would be an asset

- Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

- Fluent communication skills in French and English
