## Description

We are seeking a skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our Women's Specialty Unit (WSU) team at UNC Medical Center. The WSU is a 14-bed unit providing care to patients with gynaecology benign and gynaecology oncology diagnoses.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs

- Developing and implementing plans of care

- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications and performing treatments

- Educating patients and families on self-care and management of conditions

- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate patient care and develop strategies for improvement

Requirements:

- Graduation from a school of professional nursing

- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

- One year of nursing experience
