## Workshop Chief

The WRT Workshop Chief will manage the daily operations in the workshop including logistics, stores, and infrastructure. They have a technical background and experience and knowledge of facility management. Strong communication skills are needed and the ability to set priorities in function of the workload and the race programs; The Chief Workshop is motivated to reach goals and objectives and promote high-standards, quality of service and team spirit in the workforce.

### Responsibilities

- Technical support:

- Coordinate with the program managers to support requirements of the different WRT business lines and activities.

- Logistic support:

- Manage the maintenance and legal compliance of WRT service vehicle and truck fleet.

- Manage and schedules the use of WRT service vehicles and trucks for the different WRT business lines and activities to ensure saturation and efficiency.

- Collaborate the truck drivers or work together with the chief trucky.

- Management of race shop work-force:

- Work in close collaboration with the program managers to efficiently employ the workforce to ensure productivity.

- Supply chain

- Responsible for the supply chain management in collaboration with the individual program managers of the different WRT business lines and activities.

- Infrastructure:

- Manage the maintenance and space utilization, execute repaire.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements interfacing with the WRT Health and Safety Responsible.

- Knowledge of the construction sector for the coordination of the relocation of the workshop, monitoring the execution of the work and reporting to the management.

### Desired Skillset

- Knowledge of safety at work, facility management and the technical aspects of buildings.

- Hands on approach with a flexible “Can Do” & “Will Do” attitude.

- Flexible with workload and tight deadline.

- Knowledge of French and English required, notions of German and Dutch considered as a bonus.

- Pro-active problem solver & strong communicator.

- Strong organisation and planning capacities.

- Truck driving licence is a plus.
