As an Associate Manager, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Operations, you lead and enable Bayer teams to care for people, protect the environment, and ensure compliance.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary groups to bring innovative solutions to reduce risk.

- Work with sites to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of site procedures that assure personnel, contractor, and facility compliance with regulatory and company requirements.

- Champion the collection, dissemination, and execution of best-practice sharing within the region.

- Lead regional high-risk work teams as a technical subject matter expert.

- Conduct facility HSE compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

- Support the preparation of HSE permits and reports to maintain regulatory compliance.

- Provide technical and functional HSE support to capital projects, new equipment purchases, site expansions, and other initiatives.

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, or a related field.

- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% across North America.

- Valid U.S. driver's license.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience related to HSE within the agricultural, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, research, healthcare, or chemical industry.

- Technical experience and acumen with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific requirements.

- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all organisational levels.

- Ability to be self-directed and manage projects with minimal guidance.

- Professional HSE designation preferred.
