## Description

We are seeking a Principal BIM Technician - Highways to join our team.

You will assist CAD Technicians in technical analysis, analyse ground data, and prepare base maps.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing graphic representations of land or road portions

- Annotating work to be done

- Creating plans, profiles, cross-sections, and details

- Designing temporary or permanent signage

- Preparing installation slips

The ideal candidate will have:

- 15+ years of highway work experience with a consultancy firm or developer

- Strong abilities to work with BIM-compliant CAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, ProjectWise, ACC, and Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of Dynamo, Navis work clash analysis, InfraWorks, and Concept Station is an asset

- Ability to work on multiple projects, mentor juniors, and take up line management responsibilities

- Understanding of Canadian standards and design practices is an asset

Requirements:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering

- 8-10 years of working experience on infrastructure projects and detail design of highways and drainage

- Experience working in/with other cultures

- Fluency in English; French is a plus
