## Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Wards department at Woodlands Hospital in Darlington. This is a part-time role for 32 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols, assess patient needs, and maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering high-quality patient care

- Assessing patient needs and updating care plans

- Maintaining accurate and timely nursing documentation

- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and carers

- Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide safe and efficient care

- Identifying and reporting incidents and potential risks

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)

- Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting

- Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Proficiency in IT systems used for patient records and care planning
