## Description

As a Senior Manager, Data Analysis at Capital One, you will partner cross-functionally with teams to validate business-impacting analytical tools, enhancing your technical and analytical skills while influencing business strategies.

You will refine a new enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework, plan and execute validation projects, assess tool methodologies, and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities:

- Refine a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework

- Plan and execute validation projects

- Assess the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies

- Understand technical issues in analytical tools and assess risks and opportunities

- Independently research industry best practices for emerging analytical tools

- Communicate results clearly and concisely

- Leverage education and training to develop solutions

- Coach and mentor junior staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 7+ years of data analytics experience

- Master's degree with 5+ years of experience performing data analytics

- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience

- 5+ years of experience leading and developing with open-source data technologies

- 2+ years of experience managing people

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research

- 7+ years of experience in statistical or econometrics hands-on work

- 5+ years of experience manipulating and performing analysis with large data sets

- 5+ years of experience in financial services industry

- 5+ years of experience in developing statistical or econometric models

- 5+ years of experience in validating statistical or econometric models

- 2+ years of experience with data governance

- 2+ years of experience with predictive analytics
