We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics.

As Associate Director, Data and Analytics, you will be responsible for developing and communicating a clear technology delivery strategy aligned with business objectives. You will collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and prioritize initiatives. You will drive innovation, process improvements, and best practices within the technology delivery function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and communicate a clear technology delivery strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.

- Drive innovation, process improvements, and best practices within the technology delivery function.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Mitigate risks, resolve issues, and manage project dependencies.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in designing and managing ETL solutions, including data modeling, data warehousing, SQL development, and business intelligence.

- Knowledge of cloud providers (AWS and GCP preferred), what technologies they provide, and the use cases they serve.

- Ability to understand business issues and devise solutions that deliver results, constructing innovative approaches where required.

- Strong leadership skills, team-builder, and influencer.

- Experience architecting in an DevOps and agile environments.

- Gravitas and ability to interact with and advise senior executives.

- Mentor and coach less experienced members of staff and promote an understanding of the value of data architecture and of use of technologies and standards in their domain across IT.

- Build strong relationships with engineering and operations teams aligned to the relevant area, particularly the designers within these teams.

- Design for resilience e.g. catering for tiered service levels and operational or regulatory imperatives or KPIs.

- Applying architectural risk management techniques and decision-making principles (in an agile control environment).

- Design solutions that balance flexibility and affordability but without compromising architectural integrity.

- Ensure preparedness for effective regulatory, audit & security controls purposes.
