## Description

We are seeking a Senior Sister - Charge Nurse to join the team at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow, part of Circle Health Group. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, with a flexible shift pattern.

The successful candidate will lead a 30-bedded day case/surgical unit, providing hands-on clinical care and acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients. Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating daily clinical activity and ensuring safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care

- Allocating and supervising staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met

- Supporting the development, appraisal, and competency assessment of junior nurses, HCAs, and students

- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards

- Promoting compliance with infection prevention, medication safety, safeguarding, and other clinical governance priorities

To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration

- Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant specialty

- Experience in leading and supervising a team within a clinical environment

- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and coordination skills

- Commitment to high standards of patient care and professional development
