## Description

We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer (aka Salesforce Developer) to join our Technology team supporting Cigna Global Individual Health.

The Salesforce Developer will work on an Agile scrum team and will be responsible for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC, building customized solutions using Salesforce declarative tools, custom code, and AppExchange products.

**Responsibilities**

- Analysing requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity.

- Applying knowledge of “out of the box” functionality to determine design options and highlight compromises.

- Developing and documenting customised solutions within the Salesforce platform.

- Develop system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP) and Metadata API.

- Ensuring developed solutions are maintainable, scalable, testable, and deployable.

- Ensuring solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices.

- Support for bug fixing.

- Maintaining system security and integrity.

- Deployment/Release of changes through sandboxes to production.

**Leadership and Collaboration**

- Participating in peer review sessions with other Salesforce developers and admins.

- Collaborating with other technology teams to facilitate interfaces between Salesforce and other systems.

- Collaborate with Cigna's Architecture team regarding project and related Salesforce effort estimates.

- Participating in Agile team activities.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

- 4+ years in Salesforce administration and development.

- 2+ years as a Salesforce Developer with Apex, triggers, trigger frameworks, and Visualforce.

- 1+ year experience working with Lightning Web Components.

- Hands-on Salesforce experience either on Service Cloud or Sales Cloud.

- Experience with code refactoring.

- Knowledge of Salesforce REST, SOAP, and Metadata API.

- Exceptional English verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

- Salesforce Platform Developer I certified.

**Nice to Have**

- 1+ year as a Salesforce Administrator with declarative development.

- Certified Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II.

- Certified Copado Fundamentals I and II.

- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Git, SFDX.
