## Description

As a Senior Civil Engineer at WSP, you will be responsible for the complete civil engineering design requirements of projects.

Your main tasks will include:

- Coordinating efforts between disciplines and working closely with the Transport Civil Team Lead or Project Manager

- Planning, analysing, designing, and producing engineering drawings for assigned projects

- Mentoring and guiding other Civil Engineers in the team

- Staying updated on new developments and methods relevant to your area of expertise

- Adhering to prescribed Design Standards and Design Quality Procedures

- Performing cross-discipline reviews, constructability checks, and clash detection reviews

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A licence as a Civil Engineer

- At least eight years of relevant work experience

- Experience with geometric design of highways using software such as Civil 3D, 12D, Open Roads, or MX

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel

- Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards, local Road Authority Standards, and other road and civil design standards

- Understanding of safety in design practices and processes with emphasis on road safety outcomes

- Good leadership skills, enthusiasm, assertiveness, and courageous decision-making skills

- Strong relationship-building capability, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills across different cultures
