## Description

We are seeking a driven and resilient salesperson with expertise in the Buy-side and Sell-side space to join our APAC Analytics & AI Sales team based in Shanghai.

As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving new sales by selling our Data & Analytics AI solutions to both existing and new clients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Generating new business by identifying new logos and up-selling/cross-selling into existing clients

- Developing and executing clear strategies for targeting prioritized opportunities

- Structuring, negotiating, and closing deals

- Growing LSEG's market share by proactively developing and deploying domain-based strategies

- Acting as a subject matter expert to support Account Managers

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- A sales background with domain expertise within financial markets, preferably within the financial market data and/or financial analytics field

- Experience working with collective investments and knowledge of the industry

- Expertise in AI-powered solutions

- Knowledge of market data is an advantage

- Demonstrable sales experience within the financial services

- A proven track record in a quota-bearing sales environment

- World-class selling skills and strong sales 'closer'
