## Description

The Technical Manager (Lipsy) role involves optimising the supply base, driving product quality, reducing return rates, and leading sustainable fabric initiatives.

You will act as a Strategic Partner, collaborating with Buying, Design, and Technical teams to ensure operational foresight and brand growth.

Key responsibilities:

- Strategic Supply Chain & Forward Planning: Define service requirements, set performance standards, and present strategic plans.

- Product Development, Fit & Return Rate Optimization: Assess and manage product blocks, lead Brand Fit Days, and analyse returns data.

- Sustainability & Fabric Sourcing Strategy: Drive the brand's Sustainable Fabric Approach and maintain a Key Fabrics Library.

- Team Management & Development: Manage and develop direct reports, provide expert coaching, and oversee indirect reporting lines.

Requirements:

- Comprehensive experience at a senior technical level within a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

- Proven track record in supplier appraisal, risk management, and setting quality standards.

- Expert knowledge of pattern cutting, product block management, grading, and technical fitting.

- Strong analytical capability and in-depth understanding of fabrications, mill management, and sustainable sourcing.
