## Description

Join GDIT as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and make a personal impact supporting customer activities. As an ISSO, you will help ensure today's safety and tomorrow's smartness by providing cybersecurity services to clients.

**Responsibilities:**

- Work with the program security team to provide all aspects of security

- Provide expert-level knowledge of the Risk Management Framework to support NIST SP 800-53 HHM systems

- Construct thorough security documentation, including System Security Plans and Plans of Action and Milestones

- Identify security controls and work with engineering, development, and testing staff to construct test plans and procedures

- Implement security audit reviews and coordinate security testing exercises

- Configure and support cloud-native services to protect the system's security posture

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline

- 8+ years of related experience

- Demonstrated strong technical skills and analytic abilities

- Experience with security in cloud environments and performing complex technical tasks

- Knowledge of risk management methodologies and experience analyzing test results

- Technical experience with system configuration, development, and design

- Experience with Linux and virtual platforms

- Documented working experience with public and private information security groups

- Ability to communicate vulnerability results and risk posture to senior executives
