## Description

Southern Nuclear Company's Central Design Organisation is seeking an Engineering Supervisor (EPU) to lead design changes for Extended Power Uprate projects at Plant Hatch in Baxley, Georgia.

The Engineering Supervisor (EPU) will report to the Fleet Central Design EPU Manager and provide technical direction for design products generated in support of Extended Power Uprate projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing technical direction and management of design products

- Supervising assigned personnel, including training and performance management

- Ensuring implementation of corporate, plant, and department policies/procedures

- Ensuring high-quality design changes, technically adequate and carried out according to design requirements

- Managing design interface controls between organisations performing engineering work affecting plant design

- Coordinating design input and support from corporate specialty areas as needed

- Promoting fleet common design processes and implementation

- Managing financial performance to meet budgetary requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

- A BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

- 8 years of experience in nuclear power

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Strong management and teamwork skills

- Ability to hold self and others accountable to established policies and procedures

Occasional travel is required, including travel to other nuclear plants.

A permanent residency or ability to relocate within an hour reporting distance from Plant Hatch is necessary.
