## Description

As a Quality Controller at Morrisons, you will be responsible for conducting routine checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet food safety and legality standards.

Your main duties will include:

- Temperature probing

- Swabbing

- Weight and size checks

- Recording information using relevant systems to demonstrate traceability and due diligence

- Escalating any non-conformances to prevent product withdrawals or recalls

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and your role will contribute to minimising and preventing loss of sales or profit while ensuring customer requirements are met.

Previous manufacturing and food handling experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will:

- Enjoy working as part of a team

- Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

- Have a good level of fitness

- Be able to work in varying temperatures (around 8 degrees and below)

- Take pride in completing tasks to the best of their ability

Desirable skills and experience include:

- Quality Control

- Understanding of product allergens

- Food Safety Level 2 and/or HACCP Level 2
