## Description

As a Manager, Data Analytics at Capital One, you will drive strategy by leveraging analytical skills, build and use models to test and validate data, and work with vast amounts of data in new and evolving environments.

You will lead a team of talented junior analysts, mentor them, and elevate their careers. You will collaborate across business units, work with top talent in a fast-paced environment, and experience real work-life balance with minimal travel.

Responsibilities:

- Mine data to arrive at specific and crucial information for the organization

- Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements

- Work with large and complex databases containing millions to billions of records

- Improve operational efficiencies and effectiveness

- Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests

- Extract and analyze data to gauge product offerings

- Consult on the design and implementation of new production and data storage systems

- Develop and implement strategic tests of products, initiatives, and marketing materials

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with at least 6 years of experience in data analytics

- Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience in data analytics

- At least 4 years of experience in professional data analysis work

- At least 4 years of experience in programming

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline

- At least 7 years of professional data analysis work experience

- Experience with Python, R, Spark, SQL, Tableau, and AWS services

- People management and project management experience
