## Description

We are seeking a Senior BIM Technician - Structures to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience working on projects of various sizes, independently and as part of a project team. You will be responsible for developing and modeling building elements using Structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts in REVIT software.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and modeling building elements using Structural drawings/PDFs or hand drafts in REVIT software

- Agreeing on drawing strategy, type and size of drawings, and drawing numbering with the project engineer

- Suggesting methods of drawing production to ensure efficient working methods

- Working on a number of projects across different types of Building Structures

- Having knowledge of both Structural and Architecture disciplines

- Developing 3D Reinforcement REVIT structures modeling and specifications/Bar bending schedules

- Setting up Automation/Dynamo activities wherever needed and possible

- Setting up BIM models to project standards and liaising with Model Managers from the client side

- Performing clash detection

- Working with a small team of resources to execute a project

- Assisting the CAD/BIM Manager in Estimation and Costing of CAD/BIM projects

- Swiftly switching between various tools for preparing detail/design drawings for structures depending on priority of works

- Having good understanding and working knowledge of international offices and standards

- Having good knowledge of industry standards and international codes

Core functions include:

- Understanding the scope of work and delivery schedule from Senior Leads

- Inputting into the coordination of engineering services on projects

- Developing drawings from inputs received from Spain

- Preparing sketches/RFIs as necessary for seeking clarification from engineers in Spain

- Preparing/amending models and/or drawings to specified WSP in Spain REVIT standards

- Suggesting revisions to standards/templates/custom settings as appropriate

- Using templates for REVIT work and standard library items to assist detailing/design work

- Providing advice and coaching to technicians on intermediate REVIT functions when requested

- Following QA, document control, archiving guidelines on all work

- Working with project team members on specified aspects of the project

- Managing small and medium BIM Models for structures using REVIT Structures

The ideal candidate will have:

- Minimum Diploma in CAD with at least 10+ years of relevant experience

- Professional registration such as EngTech with ICE, UK or close to attaining the same

- Experience with REVIT environment, including Steel/Concrete/Point cloud/Pre-cast/Cast in situ working models

- AutoCAD experience is required; TEKLA experience is a plus

- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness

- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision

- High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others
