## Description

GitLab is seeking a Principal Executive Recruiter to lead VP-level and other senior leadership searches across various teams. The successful candidate will partner with senior executives to identify, engage, assess, and hire leaders, utilizing market intelligence and a research-driven approach.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end searches for senior leadership positions

- Advise C-suite executives and senior business leaders on hiring decisions

- Develop talent strategies using market mapping and competitive intelligence

- Build relationships with passive executive talent

- Partner with hiring leaders to define success profiles and guide hiring decisions

- Manage confidential searches with discretion

- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership to improve search frameworks

Requirements:

- Experience leading VP-level and senior executive searches

- Executive recruiting experience across functions such as Sales, People, Legal, Finance

- Ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite executives

- Skills in talent research, market mapping, and leadership assessment

- Business judgment, communication, and negotiation skills
