## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Orthopedics/Sport team at Advocate Health in Kernersville, NC. As a Physical Therapist, you will provide patient care assessment and treatment, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive, functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice

- Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals, and encourage patients and significant others in setting goals

- Maintain accurate documentation, completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy

- Meet department financial and productivity standards, adjusting individual schedules to meet patient and department needs

- Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying quality and operational opportunities

- Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers, providing representation on committees

- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers

**Requirements:**

- B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school

- Current licensure in the state of North Carolina

- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C
