## Description

Sodexo is seeking an Assistant Village Manager to oversee and manage village operations at a remote site in South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Managing multiple departments within the contracted scope of work, including housekeeping, catering, building and maintenance, and administration

- Building and strengthening client relationships while delivering outstanding customer service

- Leading, developing, and managing a diverse workforce to ensure they understand their roles and meet performance objectives

- Full financial performance and P&L responsibility, with a focus on labor and food costs

- Identifying areas for improvement and utilizing systems, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of village operations

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Financial acumen with proven experience implementing cost-saving initiatives and meeting budgets

- Familiarity with HACCP compliance and remote site HSE requirements

- Proven ability to negotiate, influence, listen, guide, and interact effectively with all stakeholders

- Solid understanding of HR processes and cultural competence

- Strong people management skills and proven ability to build and support team cohesion

- Excellent computer, compliance, and reporting skills

- Current manual driver's license

- Accommodation reservation experience is preferred but not essential

Previous remote site experience is highly desirable, although extensive hospitality experience at a general manager level will be considered.
