## Description

We are seeking a Guest Advocate to join our team as an On-Demand Team Member. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment.

The starting hourly rate is $17.25 USD per hour, with a pay range of $17.25 USD - $25.90 USD per hour.

As an On-Demand Team Member, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our mobile scheduling app. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role.

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth shopping experience for guests

- Operate a cash register and handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately

- Maintain a clean and organised store environment, including gathering abandoned items and stocking supplies

- Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude

- Adapt to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

Requirements:

- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members

- Attention to detail while multi-tasking

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
