## Description

WBNS-TV Columbus, a TEGNA CBS station, seeks a skilled Photojournalist to create engaging content for TV, social media, and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Capture compelling video and audio elements for news, sports, and features under daily deadlines.

- Operate ENG trucks or IP video-based live units (TVU) when assigned.

- Work independently or as part of a team on daily news assignments.

- Participate in editorial meetings and suggest story ideas.

- Enhance stories using creative production techniques like graphics and new media forms.

Requirements:

- BA/BS in journalism, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

- 1-3 years of experience in a newsroom environment.

- Experience in photojournalism, editing, and content management systems.

- Flexibility with scheduling, reliability, and dependability.

- Ability to generate creative, engaging live shots.

- Proficiency with EDIUS or similar non-linear editing systems.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.

- Current driver's license and ability to operate a news gathering vehicle.
